Pete Navarro is a passionate engineer and innovator who seamlessly merges artistic vision with technical precision. An avid automotive enthusiast, he has spent years hands-on with cars, trucks, and motorcycles, fueling a deep love for racing and performance. This personal passion drives his professional work, where he blends creative design thinking with rigorous engineering to develop elegant, high-performance solutions.

With over 20 years of engineering experience, Pete Navarro has built a distinguished career across diverse, high-stakes industries. He has specialized in complex system calibration and thermal mapping in pharmaceutical sterilization, including advanced training and study in Italy. His global network of manufacturing and development partners enables him to bring ambitious projects from concept to reality with efficiency and quality.

In the automotive sector, Pete Navarro focuses on R&D for both aftermarket and OEM parts. His notable achievements include the design of critical safety components such as cross arms and stop arms for school buses, as well as emergency escape hatches now used across bus fleets. He continues to combine his artistic sensibility and deep technical expertise to create functional, reliable products that enhance safety and performance.

Ray is a Product Development Leader with more than 20 years of experience bringing hardware products and complex technical solutions from concept through development, validation, manufacturing, and deployment. With a degree in Electrical Engineering and a career spanning applications and test engineering, manufacturing management, and product development leadership, he brings a practical, hands-on perspective to turning ideas into reliable, manufacturable products.

Throughout his career, Ray has worked at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management. His experience includes hardware and product development, manufacturing and production readiness, quality and validation, supplier coordination, and the management of complex development programs. He particularly enjoys solving practical problems and being part of the entire product journey—taking an early idea, working through the challenges of development, and watching it evolve into something tangible that people can actually use.

That same mindset drew Ray to VentSnap. As part of the product development and project management effort, he is helping move the concept forward by bringing structure to the development process and supporting the team as the idea progresses toward a manufacturable product. VentSnap's focus on solving a simple but meaningful problem—making soffit vent installation safer and easier without the need to work from a ladder—closely aligns with his interest in developing practical products that improve safety and simplify everyday tasks.

Outside of his professional work, Ray enjoys DIY projects and home renovations, investing, travelling, and spending time with his family. His hands-on approach to home improvement has also reinforced a simple philosophy that carries into his professional life: some of the best product ideas come from recognizing an everyday problem and finding a smarter, safer, and more practical way to solve it.

For more than 15 years, I’ve worked in product development, systems engineering, manufacturing, and field operations, helping bring innovative hardware solutions from concept to large-scale deployment. Throughout my career, I’ve led projects involving product design, quality assurance, installation processes, and real-world usability testing across thousands of deployed systems.

VentSnap was born from a simple observation: many homeowners avoid routine vent maintenance because accessing soffit vents often requires ladders, specialized equipment, or professional assistance. Pete, Ray and I have spent years solving practical engineering challenges, thus we saw an opportunity to create a safer, simpler solution.

Our mission is straightforward… make vent installation and maintenance easier, safer, and more accessible for homeowners.
